Charity Ladies Day Newtyle Beat 24th June FULL
The second ladies charity day of 2016 is on Friday 24th June and will raise funds for Scotland’s Angling For Youth Development. Thank you to Head Ghillie Andy Gunn and the owner’s of Newtyle Fishing for their kind generosity.
The charity day will be held on the prestigious Newtyle beat, located on the middle Tay at Dunkeld and is perfect for the novice and more experienced angler. The beat comprises of two miles of double bank fishing with 16 named pools and is suitable for both fly and spinner.
Anglers fishing this beat last year (2015) caught a total of 55 salmon in June.
Newtyle’s head ghillie, Andy Gunn, is a superb Spey-casting tutor and and is available to help improve your casting techniques. Andy will be on hand to introduce beginners to salmon fishing.
