IMG_5049The second ladies charity day of 2016 is on Friday 24th June and will raise funds for Scotland’s Angling For Youth Development. Thank you to Head Ghillie Andy Gunn and the owner’s of Newtyle Fishing for their kind generosity.

The charity day will be held on the prestigious Newtyle beat, located on the middle Tay at Dunkeld and is perfect for the novice and more experienced angler. The beat comprises of two miles of double bank fishing with 16 named pools and is suitable for both fly and spinner.

Anglers fishing this beat last year (2015) caught a total of 55 salmon in June.

Newtyle’s head ghillie, Andy Gunn, is a superb Spey-casting tutor and and is available to help improve your casting techniques. Andy will be on hand to introduce beginners to salmon fishing.

The price per person is £80 and includes salmon fishing, tuition if needed and a BBQ lunch   To book your place on the Newtyle ladies charity day please email Anne Woodcock  at FishPal – anne@fishpal.com .Only 7 places available.

Ladies fishing the Meikleour Charity Ladies Day the following day will receive booking preference for this event.

With ladies now travelling across the UK for salmon events in Scotland, this year I’ve decided to organise three events with fishing across two days. Further dates to be announced.
