Reels on Heels – Charity Ladies Day 2 Places
Claire Mercer Nairne and Meikleour Fishing’s popular ladies charity event with Ladies Fishing will take on the Saturday 25th of June. Thank you to the Meikleour Estate who will be donating the money raised from the day to Angling For Youth Development.
Upper Islamouth and Meikleour House is a picturesque double bank beat set in the stunning grounds of Meikleour House. The beat commences at the junction of the Tay & Isla Rivers and extends for approximately 1.7 miles upstream double bank with 14 named pools. It is perhaps for the Islamouth and Castle Pools that we are most famous and to follow the path to these pools is to follow in the footsteps of many angling greats.
The day includes your fishing permit for Salmon from the bank and boat with tuition if required and a 3 course lunch with refreshments kindly donated by the Meikleour Arm. Cost: £125, sum entirely donated to our local Angling For Youth Development hub.
Complete beginners are welcome with all equipment provided.

Last year some of our ladies shared four of our cottages at the Walled Garden, a short walk away from the hut. Again, speak to Betty if you need accommodation for the Friday night.
Ladies, we are looking forward to welcoming you for a wonderful day while supporting a great cause!
