Anglers Vera Carlson and Lisa Isles have formed a ladies club in the the North West of England called North West Fly Fishers. Their first event is at Cleveley Mere Fishery near Lancaster on Sunday 19th June.
The day will be hosted by Vera Carlson and Lisa Isles – both of them are not just good anglers but good fun too! Vera is well known to anglers from Cumbria where for many years she ran a tackle shop in Kendal but now spends most of her time instructing and fishing. Lisa from Poulton le Fylde is a competition angler of some repute having been the first female captain of the England Youth Team and currently a member of the England Ladies team..
