I took up fly fishing after attending a day organised by a group called Ladies Fishing. £16 got me a day fishing at Chatton, fly dressing with Paul Little and casting tuition with Cliff Johnston who has over 60 years fishing experience. The group is keen to support charities and in particular Casting for Recovery, a Breast cancer support group using fly fishing to heal sufferers both mentally and physically.

The Ladies Fishing group supported this charity, this weekend by attending the Glasgow Angling Centre Open Weekend to provided the opportunity for people to tie a brooch with funds raised for this worthy charity.
