Ladies Day River Ure 21st May Full
We have two stretches of double bank fishing within the beautiful Wensleydale countryside, ideal for ladies who wish to go fishing for the first time for salmon and/or trout.
Brian is an AAPGAI Advanced instructor in the single and double handed rod. Full instruction is available for the complete beginner and for ladies wishing to improve their casting and water craft skills.
The Bolton Hall beat offers one mile of excellent fly water for salmon with a selection of riffles, glides and good pools. The beat is easily accessible by car and has a new fishing hut with wc. Wensley beat enjoys 3/4 mile of double bank fishing mainly for trout. Salmon have to pass through this beat and at the right height it is definitely worth a cast.
The day includes tuition and your fishing permit for salmon and trout. Instruction, and guiding with Brian Towers.
Sue will be preparing a buffet lunch using local produce served in the fishing hut. Refreshments during the day are included. Equipment can be provided if required. The price for the day is £100 and is limited to 6 places.
The day starts at 9am with a meet and greet and finishes at 4pm – ladies can carry on fishing until dusk.
