Because ladies fishing hold events on still (boats), rivers and sea I’ve been asked my thoughts about life vests. As you all know the safety of all ladies attending our events is paramount for the organisers, and is discussed at planning stage. I’m a keen advocator of life jackets especially on locations where there is fast, deep running water and you tend to wade a little bit further to cast your rod.
Tweedswood for example, Kevin the ghillie always stresses whether we are grayling or salmon fishing that life jackets must be worn, when we’ve attended events at Tweedswood we all wear life vests as standard. Our first salmon trip on the Tyne we all had life vests, which I managed to borrow from kind friends .
I’ve been contacted by one of my fishing friends who has asked if any ladies would like to order an automatic life vest with built in fly vest, so you have pockets to pop your flies in etc. It’s called the new Wavehopper Inflatable Fly Vest Fishing Lifejacket, designed to be a practical buoyancy device, priced within the reach of every angler. So if your wading large salmon rivers or boat fishing on a reservoir, a Lifejacket gives you the peace of mind and functionality.
I am trying to get sponsorship/funding at the moment for some life vests, if you know anyone who would like to offer funding for this important and sometimes forgotten piece of kit please let me know. (we will promote the company)
If you are interested in buying a life vest please contact myself firstname.lastname@example.org
NB: Any ladies who have ideas to make this site better or ideas on events we should run or places we should visit please email me.

Feedback positive or negative is welcome, we can only improve our standards by it and give you the days you want.
