CLA Game Fair – Harewood House
During the three day show, visitors enjoyed demonstrations across the whole spectrum of country sports from shooting, fishing, gun dogs, ferrets, horses and many more field sports. The weather yet again proved challenging after a sunny Friday, Saturday’s visitors faced torrential
downpours, this didn’t deter the visiting crowds from attending. Ticket pre sales have been strong which is good for the local economy and tourism.
Meeting fellow female anglers in the Fishing Village – the vibe was good, with fishing trips organised during the coming months including plans for ladies days/events next year. Chatting to Stevie Peterson of Simms he said more women were coming on to the Glasgow Angling Stand enquiring about waders and clothing. Please keep asking your local fishing shop to stock more clothing for women. If you are thinking of buying waders, fishing clothing for game, sea or salt water and don’t know where to go – please leave a message on this page or email me at email@example.com
I’m looking forward to fishing with England Internationals Lisa Isles and Phillippa Hake in September – if anyone is interested in joining us for a days trout fishing please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
