Grayling Fishing Event: January 2013

River Annan Grayling 2012Ladies would you like to join the Ladies Fishing Club on the River Annan, Sunday 13th January, fishing for the ‘Lady of the Stream’ ?

Day Consists of:

Meet at Cafe 91, Lockerbie 8.30am.  Car Sharing is available from County Durham and Newcastle. They make excellent breakfasts.

Ladies Fishing coaches will demonstrate two methods for grayling fishing. Long Trotting, using a 12-13ft float rod, fixed spool or centre pin reel, with 3 1/2lb line, using maggots.  Fly fishing using your still water rod, and the following flys, czech nymphs, bugs, klink hammers and if the weather stays warm there may be a hatch, dry flies.

Equipment and life vests will be provided for beginners.

Cost £10.00 which is made payable to the Annan Rivers Trust.
