Girl Power Required

Northumberland County Blind Association are celebrating a decade of their angling competition at Fontburn on Friday 29 July.

Jane Craske has contacted LF to ask if any of the ladies are interested in attending this event because they ‘would like some girl fishing power’

There are cash prizes for adults and juniors.  1st & 2nd including heaviest fish and a special free entry draw to win a 2012 Northumbrian Water season permit. Latest fishing report from Fontburn Reservoir . Fontburn is located in a beautiful corner of Northumberland countryside close to the Simonside Hills. At 87 acres this is one of Northumbrian Waters smaller reservoirs, also one of the regions oldest, opened in 1901. A popular fishery regularly stocked with home reared browns and rainbows. Rainbow trout record of 26lb it’s well worth a visit.
