I had the pleasure of sitting next to this little girl at the Gazette Community Awards this evening. . Extraordinary people who make Teesside such a wonderful place to live and work. . Kiki (4) has a life limiting condition. She has an upbeat attitude and full of joy. She particularly liked dropping her napkin on the floor and getting me to pick it up which she found v funny indeed. She has a smile and sense of humour that lights up the room.
It was lovely to play this fish in June after a tough year with a broken knee cap. . . Standing in the river my mind was saying don’t lose it. My knee was aching and I was thinking don’t damage your knee anymore you’ve got to drive home and be careful where your moving your feet. . . . Does your heart race when you get a fish on. Always exciting to have the privilege to play a silver sailor. And yes I needed to tighten the drag on my reel 😘😘 .
