High Sheriff Charity Ladies Day 2015

Fellow angler and owner of Tiptoe Fishing, Lucy Carroll has been appointed the High Sheriff of Northumberland for 2015. To celebrate her appointment and to raise funds for the High Sheriff’s fund, Lucy and Anne are hosting a ladies charity day for salmon and sea trout on Tiptoe Fishing Saturday 22nd August.
Tiptoe beat is one mile long, set in and attractive managed woodland valley and is fished from the right bank. It is approximately 2 miles upstream from the junction at Tillmouth beat with the River
Tweed, Cornhill on Tweed. The fishing is predominantly for salmon and sea trout. The sea trout fishing is very good from early summer. The day is perfect for beginners and for ladies who would like the improve their skills. The beats August average is 15 salmon.
Starting at 10am and fishing in to the evening – ladies will have the opportunity to fish the beats 14 named pools. Places are limited to a maximum of 6 rods.
Cost including fishing, a light lunch at Lucy’s house over looking the river and equipment (waders/lifevests/rods if required) is £50 per person – which will be donated to the High Sheriff of Northumberland’s charity.
To book a place please email anne@fishpal.com or call 01388 605340.
Northumberland is fortunate to have a High Sheriff’s fund, which means that local voluntary and community groups across the county can get support through the High Sheriff of Northumberland Youth Awards Scheme. Awards for youth groups that make a positive difference – read more.
Hi Anne

Hi Anne
It was lovely chatting to you this morning.
I have looked into cost etc. and there is not much in it….. so I will travel up Saturday morning by car. If Lucy’s place is available that would be great! but if not, would you be kind enough to give me some places I could book for the night please, or if you have the exact location I will have a look myself, I know how busy you are ☺ I know we briefly spoke of equipment but if you can give me some more detail as to what we do need I would be most grateful, my arsenal is limited I’m afraid…..
Kindest regards
Liz
