Ladies Fishing have been invited to help at the Yorkshire Game Fair this weekend in their Fisherman’s Ghillie area. Anne Woodcock will be assisting with casting tuition for juniors on the single and double handed rods.

Ladies Fishing have been asked by the Durham Branch of the Women’s Institute to organise an evenings introduction to fly fishing for their members on Wednesday 8th June at Aldin Grange Fishery, Bearpark, Durham. This event including tuition and equipment has been provided free of charge for the WI by Ladies Fishing. The WI are the largest women’s organisation in the UK with 205,000 members across 6,500 WIs. On the 14th of May the Environment Agency is hosting an open day at Kielder as part of the Living North Sea ‘Fish Migration Day’. The day is an open invitation to all who may be interested in learning more about the Kielder Smolt Trap and the Living North Sea project in general.
