Thursday evening driving through the peaceful and secluded Jesmond Dene, we followed the tranquil river Ouseburn flowing gracefully to our left and reached our destination in the heart of a picturesque leafy woodland valley called the Fisherman’s Lodge.

Ladies I just loved reading about these ladies, they reminded me so much of our day on the Tyne fishing for salmon with Cliff Johnston’s campervan. Ok Cliffs van does not look as spectacular but we have so much in common with these ladies. It’s a bond shared by Sisters on the Fly, a group of nearly 1,500 women ranging in age from 25 to more than 90.
