More Good News For Ladies Fishing
Hi Ladies,
More good news Paul Little has accepted our request to become the ladies fishing fly tying coach.
Paul has fished for over 31 years, fishing in many parts of the world, including Alaska where he caught all species of pacific salmon. He’s just come back from a trip to Argentina fishing the Rio Gallegosfor sea trout on the fly. Paul loves pike fishing and can think of nothing better than using his favourite reel (he collects reels as we would pairs of shoes) which is the Nautilus No8 anodized in purple on a Scott X2S 9ft 8#, his biggest pike on the fly is 17lb.
During his 31 years of fishing he has become world recognised as a Classic Atlantic Salmon Fly specialist, his friend Marvin Nolte says “Paul ties the best demonstration flies on the circuit”. Paul is an all round fly dresser. He is an AAPGAI Master in Fly Dressing, Double and Single handed disciplines, and is a senior assessor for AAPGAI.
Paul said “I’m honored to have been asked by Trish and Anne to become your fly tying coach. You organise a variety of events and I look forward to helping you with your fly tying and river days for salmon and sea trout. As far as I’m aware this is the only ladies group in the UK that meets regularly to tie flies”
I know you will all be pleased that Paul has decided to become our fly tying specialist. He’s been a keen supporter since we established the fishing group and has given up his time free of charge to help ladies fishing grow. Paul has offered to co-ordinate all our events in Cumbria. We are holding days in May for Mullet Fishing and June for Pike both on the fly.
Paul will be involved in our weekend charity event 8th & 9th May. He also hopes that the ladies will come to his fly tying stand at the Tweed show and tie a fly with him on the 1st May.
His knowledge and experience can only benefit our events in 2010 and beyond. Thank you Paul

Wish I was a world traveller like Paul but I pretty much stay in New Brunswick Canada and love it here. So much to see and plenty of fish to keep me smiling for many more years to come.
Tying your flies is a great experience and once you catch that first fish on a fly you tied yourself, your gonna be hooked for sure.
Wish you all the best.
