Tactics were floating lines using tiny drys, emergers and cdc’s to tempt the suface feeding trout. Marion landed her first fish of the day just before lunch on a cdc.
Paul Little demonstrated the circle c, including fault finding and line presentation. The session will be put to good use during week as some of the ladies are off fishing the Tweed and Tyne.

Dawn Dixon: ‘its been another lovely day with Anne and the rest of Ladies Fishing up at Chatton Fishery. I didn’t catch anything, but had fun with dry flies on the top of the water, our new lady Janice scored again which is great… so I think she is really hooked now !

The next Chatton Ladies day will be on Sunday 15th July. The day will consist of tuition/advice for beginners to advanced female anglers. We will continue the double handed casting tuition and include a session on smoking trout. Price for the event including lunch, tuition and equipment is £20
